Our Impact
Events are 100% funded by ticket sales, not donated funds. Assets managed by Merrill Lynch
One805 has two unique advantages over any other non-profit in this sector, and both are interlinked:
There are so many things Santa Barbara County’s first responding agencies need that cannot be provided from their budgets, so community support has become the only way to fill the need. Whether it be un-budgeted safety items or equipment for which immediate funding is required, assistance to support their mental health, or help in strengthening emergency and disaster preparedness in our communities.
How we use your Money
Expanding Mental Wellness Support
2025: Partial grants extended counseling and resilience resources to both Police and Sheriff families — the first time all three branches were included.
2026 Goal: Fully fund comprehensive mental wellness programs across Fire, Police, and Sheriff — making Santa Barbara County the first in the nation with county-wide, year-round support.
Strengthening Community Resilience
Critical grants provided for defibrillators, communication systems, and Starlink radios.
Guided by our Chiefs, donor funds are directed exactly where they are needed most.
How Your Giving Works
1. Direct Donations
- 100% goes into the One805 Fund, overseen by our Chiefs Advisory Board.
- Funds are securely held at Merrill Lynch.
- Directly supports grants, wellness programs, and equipment.
2. Event Tickets
Our concerts and events unite the community while raising awareness and vital funds for equipment and wellness.
- Ticket sales cover 100% of event production and operating costs. No donor funds are ever used.
- Every dollar of profit goes directly into the One805 Fund.
- World-class artists donate their performances, ensuring maximum impact for every dollar raised.
Thanks to donor generosity, 30% of every One805 audience is made up of first responders, celebrating side-by-side with the community they protect.
Our Vision
One805’s dream is to ensure that every first responder in Santa Barbara County - Firefighters, Sheriff’s Deputies, and Police Officers - has access to mental wellness counseling and support, year in and year out.
By building a sustainable endowment, we will guarantee that no first responder or family member is ever left without the resources they need to stay strong, resilient, and ready to serve.
Together, with your support, we are building a model of resilience that will inspire the nation.

Case Studies
First Responders care for our families, now let's care for theirs.
As the Thomas Fire marched inexorably along the 101 in 2017, Firefighters saved the small community of Rincon Beach; not a single home was damaged. Still deeply grateful, long-time resident Alexa Fullerton, in partnership with One805, generously offered her stunning house on Rincon Beach to allow firefighters to recuperate, recharge and spend quality time with their families. “This fire season, firefighters have been on the line for 30 days at a time” said Santa Barbara County Fire Chief Mark Hartwig. “They get two or three days off and then they are either back at the fire station, or they are deployed to another fire.
Carpinteria-Summerland, Montecito, Santa Barbara City, Lompoc, Guadalupe, Santa Maria and Santa Barbara County fire departments each selected one firefighter. The firefighter and their family are then gifted seven nights on Rincon Beach, where they can spend quality time with their immediate family, watch the kids play safely on the beach and fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
Delivering on the need for Water and Back Country Rescue in Inclement Weather.
One805 and an extremely generous donation from the Jean Perkins foundations have purchased Two Jet Skis for open water rescue and Six Drones designed to be flown in the rain: Three "Splash" Waterproof Search and Rescue drones. They have the unique capability to land on water, look for victims underneath the surface, and to fly a self-inflating flotation to the victim. Three DJI Mavic 3T Thermal UAVs They utilize a high powered spotlight, infrared camera and zoom to spot fires, mudslides, and victims.
“The Fire Chiefs throughout the County are grateful for the generosity of One805/Jean Perkins Foundation said SB County Fire Chief Mark Hartwig. “Countless times, we have been unable to fly drones or helicopters due to weather visibility. As we have shared previously, starting next July, all Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services will be dispatched from one Regional Communication Center”
With this transition to a borderless response, these units will be available to ALL fire departments from Carpinteria to Santa Maria.
